Reorganize and Redesign to Improve Website Usability
Web Design Increases Online Donations
The San Francisco nonprofit Institute On Aging chose Dayspring to address information architecture issues and redesign its Web presence.

“The new design for the IOA website looks -- and functions -- so great! The color selection is lively and inviting, the menus are much easier to navigate, and the sub-menus on each section make the information easy to use... Thank you so much for helping us create such a gem.”

IOA has been living out its mission to enhance the quality of life for adults as they age for over 30 years, in which time it has grown to become one of the largest providers of community-based services for seniors. The gradual accumulation of programs and a wealth of valuable information, however, had ultimately come together in an unwieldy and disorganized website, hindering site visitors’ ability to find the information they needed.
When IOA wanted to bring order to the chaos, they called on Dayspring.
Dayspring quickly surveyed website content and proposed a revised information architecture that could quickly communicate with multiple critical audiences. The creative team conceived a graphic design to convey the vibrancy and life consistent with the relational mission of the organization.
All deliverables were handed off to the IOA team for internal production with Dayspring support. The public site launched to rave reviews and continues to be maintained by IOA staff.
